I am selling a very successful and reliable C1 race car, sorry to see it go, but business commitments are stealing all my time. The car finished second in the 2019 Silverstone 24 Hour Race and had three strong races prior to that at Snetterton, Rockingham and Croft. These are the only events that the car competed in after being built, in every race the car qualified towards the front and ran in the leading pack.
The cars was built in mid-2018 by Mardi Gras Motorsport, a highly respected and professional team who have won multiple saloon car championships. It was built to the highest standard possible with care and attention to details. Elements such as the fire extinguisher system, emergency electric cut off, dashboard and door trims integrated around the roll cage, have all been installed beautifully. The engine has been internally inspected and it is has strong straight line speed. If you are looking for quick, reliable car that is superbly put together, then this is the one.
All major components were replaced prior or the Silverstone 24 Hours, as such the car come complete with a healthy spares package including low milage;
Clutch
Front hubs and uprights.
Rear hubs.
Drive shafts.
Brake disks.The car currently sits on Bilstein dampers which will need changing for standard dampers now the regulations have changed. It comes with 9 alloy wheels and 8 steel wheels, plus a spare gearbox with the alternative 3rd gear. It benefits from an AIM Solo 2 lap timer which is essential when it comes to developing as a driver and working on the set-up of the car. Lastly there is a drinks system with three drinks bottles, essential for endurance racing.
I also have a trailer with a wheel rack that I would like to sell with the car.
