Just checked dates and noticed the email about the Cadwell date change.

Will this event just be on the Sunday again – It clashes with the revival which I already have tickets for…

I imagine it’ll be a while before we find out.

I’m interested to see how the race will work from that pit lane. There is going to be a lot of spares taken down there and it’s not the biggest area.

We did a track day there in the C1 the week before last and I did wonder just how the pit lane would work, especially for things like fuel and access once the race is underway.

The race at Cadwell will be fantastic though, the cars are really well suited to the circuit.

It’s all part of the challenge, make the most of an endurance at Cadwell, it isn’t particularly well suited to this type of event due to the limitations that you’ve alluded to and with more cars next year it could easily be a one off.

it will require cooperation from everyone to make the pits work but I’m sure that we can all do it.

I totally agree Philip. It wasn’t the getting everything down there, more the getting it all back up again lol

Cadwell is loved by many and it’s a great challenge. Agreed, the infrastructure doesn’t really suit endurance racing but how about running 2-3 40 mins races with each driver doing one race each.

prizes for each race, and seperate prizes for the aggregate result?

A similar concept to what I have proposed for Mallory. A mini series within a series?

need to think out of the box!

    Latest breaking news

We’ve managed to agree a similar deal with Barc for Cadwell that we had for Pembrey, it will be  a 4 hour race on the Saturday and a 2 hour race on the Sunday. The entry fee for the Sunday will be slightly higher at £200 but still a very good deal.

Question for them in the know…………

can we use paddock buggies/quads at Cadwell to take fuel/tyres to the pit lane? It’s one hell of a hike otherwise for us old guys

    one other suggestion

instead of having to do the entry forms twice why not have a box for Saturday/Sunday where you tick which is applicable

Adding another question regarding Cadwell, are we allowed to have gazebo’s in the pit lane?

Having seen the Superbikes, it appears that the seem to set up all their pit gear down there. If the weather is inclement the thought of the whole team being trapped there during the course of a 4hr race would make it pretty miserable.

We realise that the entry form is a pain but the software won’t do it any differently, we are exploring a change that will improve it massively for next year.

We will all need to use whatever we can to get stuff down and back up from the pit lane, quads etc should be Ok.

We will be taking a couple of easy-ups down to the pits for shelter if its needed, a few more would certainly help.

We’ve got 14 cars entered for the 4 hour race on Saturday and 10 for the 2 hour race on Sunday. Looking forward to this meeting – Cadwell is a great circuit and well suited to the C1.

I was convinced we’d have more cars than that what with all the kits sold. Cadwell is the best circuit in the UK for me.

It’s going to a good race all the same though
