Hi all,
We will be testing our freshly built C1 at Cadwell next weekend and I cannot decide whether to fit the optional plate in the footwell. As I sit in the stationary car I am happy with the way my right foot rests on the uneven lump on the floor and cannot see the need for a plate to level it off. But I haven’t driven the car in anger yet so don’t know what it will be like lurching through hall bends and the goose neck.
Have all of you gone with the chequer plate or is it 50/50 on personal preference ?
Personal choice. See how you get on at Caldwell.
A smooth floor will make life far easier. I found lumpy floor bloody irritating and soon fitted chequer-plate
