    Here’s a link to them: http://www.masai4x4.com/lights/#!/40-Watts-8-Rectangular-Work-Light-4-CREE-LEDs-Combo-Beam/p/44587126/category=7059917

Unfortunately they’re out of stock at the moment, but do know we’ll be wanting 30 or so pairs before October.

If you want to run spot lights these are the mandatory item which must be used with the C1 Racing Club brackets.

Still showing as out of stock, any idea where else these are available?

I’m a bit concerned that Masai don’t have these in stock yet, so I’ve ordered a load from the manufacturer that should be here the first week of September. I’ve put them up on the shop here and I’ll update the stock status when they arrive. They are slightly cheaper from the club shop.

When wiring the spot lights what’s best in feed to use?

main or dip beam feed or a desperate wire and switch

Best to wire them in with their own live feed via a relay, then you can use either dipped or main beams as the relay trigger. You could even run both trigger wires and then it would be easy to switch between the two in order to perform back-to-back tests during night practice. (unless the regs say they have to be wired a certain way).

Maybe a daft question but as the club brackets are handed which is which?

The straight sides of the brackets are towards the centre of the car.

when wiring them in don’t forget the regs dictate they are switched off when entering the pitlane…..
